RILA’s Environmental Sustainability & Compliance Conference (ESCC) 2009 will be held October 5-7, 2009 at the Embassy-Suites Frisco in Dallas, Texas. ESCC is the only sustainability conference designed and presented by retailers, for retailers. Retailers and consumer goods companies have a legitimate opportunity to leverage the “Green” movement and use it to improve their business performance and practices. In today’s economic climate, “green” can be a differentiator for customers, a money-saver for retailers and driver of innovation – in other words, a business imperative. The two-day conference will bring together business leaders with firsthand experience integrating green practices into their companies. The conference will address the key operational aspects of sustainability and environmental compliance for the retail industry with focus on operations, real estate, development and supply chain issues. In addition, an environmental compliance track offers the latest information on legislative and regulatory issues and keys to compliance.
