Hydrocarbon Turbine Flowmeters

COX LoFlo turbine flow-meters are introduced as axial designs with ±0.25% of reading repeatability.
They are designed for hydrocarbon, water, and cryogenic applications due to 316 stainless steel construction with -6 AN (MS) end-fittings along with a proprietary Si3N4 ceramic ball bearing system. They measure flow as low as 0.006 gpm / 0.024 LPM in fuel injection production systems or in blending of costly chemical additives.
The ceramic ball bearing composition reduces friction, resists corrosion, and increases durability over a wide temperature range.
LoFlo also utilizes a precision, lightweight 17-4 helical rotor and is calibrated on primary standard equipment. Helical blade profile transfers energy more efficiently to reduce bearing wear, pressure drop, and associated costs.
When paired with its manufacturer's EC80 flow computer, LoFlo's calibration data are linearized to within ±0.1% of reading. This allows for precise flow measurement over the entire usable meter range. EC80 provides temperature and pressure compensation with multiple outputs for frequency and analog in engineering units.
Compact LoFlo comprises 2.21-in. face dimension. It is not position-sensitive and mounts in any piping orientation. Full flowmeter data are free.
