DESS Design/Management Suite

DESS is an integrated software package for the design, management, and optimization of electrical distribution systems. This engineering analysis program allows to perform a range analyses on a model of electrical system. Extensive load modeling provides the basis for precise analyses. The different analysis modules available for DESS provide a full set of tools for managing and planning , using full single-phase representation. Results can be produced in tabular form or displayed geographically for better understanding.

DESS allows to model loads using representative load categories. Load characteristics and daily curves are defined for each of these load categories using as little or as much data available. This data allows to run accurate analyses projected for different times of day, different days, seasons or tempera-tures.

DESS has been designed with the flexibility to make use of customers' existing data sources and the power to allow customization to meet the specific needs of customers.
