This driver set is designed to easily integrate the Masoneilan Smart Valve Interface (SVI) Digital Positioner and Controller to existing or planned Asset Management Solutions (AMS). SVI is an intelligent valve instrument which offers advanced control technology for pneumatically actuated valves, providing higher precision, greater flexibility and ease of use previously unattainable in the marketplace. The AMS offering is a full-featured software that allows the user to communicate and manage HART devices in a plant environment.

The driver set allows for complete access to the SVI with its full functionality. SVI is interfaced with the AMS software as an integrated HART based field device. The driver set allows the user to communicate with multiple SVIs through the AMS system from a centralized location.

The AMS main screen allows the user to gain access to an overview screen for the SVI. The user can obtain information about pertinent operations required to evaluate the desired position, actual position, mode, status health, and limited diagnostic information such as stroke count, cycle count and temperature.
