Perstorp Analytical's NIRSystems Process Analytics Bundle Multiplex System combines an industrially hardened on-line spectrophotmeter with a patented optical switching system to provide analyses at 1 to 6 process points using intrinsically safe bundle fiber optics.

The multiplexer's design delievers available illumination energy from the instrument source to each measurement point of turn. The system has the ability to collect low-noise spectra from highly turbid types of samples common in chemical processing. The system can collect data spectra from samples via transmission, interactance immersion, and interactance reflectance models in any order.
