EnerSeal spring-energized polymer seals are designed as an alternative to urethane-based and elastomeric seals. Used in valves, pumps, mechanical seals, oil and gas equipment and demanding aerospace applications, these seals are available, as standard parts for all rod and piston sizes (0.001 in. increments), as well as MIL-G-5514, AS 4716 and metric glands.

Using a wide range of filled PTFE compounds, as well as thermoplastics, these seals offer excellent wear, temperature and extrusion resistance and are well suited for harsh environments. Temperature capabilities range from –420 °F (-250 °C) to 570 °F (300 °C).

Polymer seals are inherently highly inert and exhibit excellent media capability across the widest range of fluids. They are also immune to explosive decompression, after exposure to high-pressure gases.
