Xomox Corporationvere service valve is designed for in-line sealing and fugitive emissions control. This valve employs a triple stem sealing system. The first stem seal is formed by the interaction of the PTFE sleeve, the valve body, and the plug where the sleeve encircles the upper portion of the plug. Stem seals two and three are formed by the two sets of packing separated by a lantern ring, with an optional monitoring/injection port.

To control fugitive emissions during thermal cycling, a lip is machined in the interior bore of the bonnet. Any radial shrinkage of the live-loaded PTFE packing causes the packing to compress tightly against this lip.
