The "DRAM", Dual Range Air Mixed, pilot is a forced draft gas fired pilot and ignition system designed to operate in inert, corrosive, acidic or pressurized nitrogen atmospheres
Stackmatch Flare Ignition Inc.AM", Dual Range Air Mixed, pilot is a forced draft gas fired pilot and ignition system designed to operate in inert, corrosive, acidic or pressurized nitrogen atmospheres. It is independent of external combustion air and will support gas or oil burners in low or high velocity applications, and can operate in fired vessels up to 150 psig. It is available in both fixed and manually retractable designs. Other higher-pressure applications or other configurations are available.

The Primary Pilot Nozzle Section heat release is adjustable from 10 KBTU/Hr to 16 KBTU/Hr depending on the gas pressure. The Secondary Pilot Nozzle Section heat release is available from 100 KBTU/Hr to 500 KBTU/HR. The self purging and cooling design provides an air source for cooling and longevity for both the primary and secondary sections.

This pilot is equipped with an ignition method. This generates a ball of flame at the front of the pilot that escapes the pilot through the primary nozzle insuring ignition. Both the primary and secondary sections of this pilot can be ignited simultaneously. Electronic pilot control packages are available in either explosion proof or non-explosion proof configurations, the control system can operate on 12 or 24 VDC and 115 or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz.
