Hengli Petrochemical PTA-5 line Large Towers Are All Installed In Place

On April 3rd and 6th, the two secondary rectification towers of the PTA-5 line of the Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co., Ltd. under construction project were installed successively. At this point, all the large towers of the project have been installed in place.

The two secondary rectification towers belong to the industry's advanced vertical plate towers, standing next to each other in the device, with a height of nearly 60 meters and a weight of more than 600 tons. Not only are they consistent in height, weight and shape, but also maintain in function the same. The two-stage rectification tower is one of the core equipments of INVISTA P8 technology in the United States. It is an important part of PTA technology innovation. It can achieve the separation of acetic acid and water while greatly reducing energy consumption.

Since the middle of last month, the hoisting work of PTA-5 large-scale towers has been in full swing. Hengli Petrochemical's relevant departments and various construction units have overcome the influence of adverse weather factors such as strong winds and rainfall. The goal of "installing one piece of equipment" is to push forward with all efforts, to ensure quality and quantity and to promote construction. It takes only more than 20 days to complete the lifting of all large equipment. Next, the PTA-5 line will enter the installation phase of tower internals, pipe corridors, and steel structures.
