Instrument Data Manager (IDM) is a comprehensive tool for engineering, design, and maintenance of control systems for the plant industry. It offers integration with upstream (such as P&ID) and downstream (such as electrical) tasks. IDM offers functions such as revision control, history files, object-to-document relationships, and wiring connectivity.
IDM conforms to company-specified workflow and integrates with in-house systems or third-party external solutions such as calculation programs and electronic catalogs. It incorporates FIRSTVUE Control Valve Sizing and Selection Software for import and export functions of valve tag numbers, line numbers, and process data required for valve sizing.
