Machinery Alignment Kit

PINPOINT Laser Systems, Inc.ge Machinery Alignment kit is a measuring and alignment system for industrial applications. It offers a precision of 0.00002 inch and alignments over a range of 50 feet. The kit can be adapted to many projects.

The kit includes a compact, battery powered, laser transmitter that projects a thin line of laser light forming a centerline reference. A digital receiver is moved along the laser beam and provides a precise measure of receiver orientation on a digital display. The kit also includes a computer interface that allows the receiver to talk with a Laptop or PC and Pinpoint's Data Capture Software for collecting and scaling readings, recording plots, and other tasks. Also included is a mounting tripod, leveling base for setting perfect planes, a right angle attachment for squaring machinery, magnetic mounts, and a beam alignment mirror.

The kit is suitable for applications which include: measuring of cutting and milling machinery alignment and performance, equipment installations, shaft alignment, roller and drive alignment, large part gauging, and ship building. The components are machined from solid aluminum and steel with a hard anodized coating.
