Stackmatch Flare Ignition Inc.ro Flame Front Ignition can be described as ignition at a distance; therefore, the sparking device is located out of the hot zone of the pilot prolonging its useful life. The internal micro flame front is generated by passing a controlled flow of a combustible air/fuel mixture through a tube; the mixture is electrically ignited, utilizing a "low voltage - high energy" component. The flame front propagates inside the tube exiting into the pilot nozzle cavity thereby igniting the pilot flame. This method will instantly ignite the pilot under the most severe ambient conditions without overheating the sparking device.
