Multivariable Product Line

SMV 3000 Smart Multivariable Transmitter line enables flow measurement at high gauge pressures and flow measurement in low differential pressure applications. Multivariable Piezoresistive is a differential and gauge pressure sensor that extends the static pressure measurement range to 3,000 psig. Also available is a differential pressure range that provides additional flow accuracy for primary elements that produce a low differential pressure, such as averaging Pitot tubes.

This line measures three process variables; differential pressure, absolute pressure or gauge pressure, and temperature via an RTD or thermocouple, and uses software to calculate and compensate the flow rate of air, gases, steam and liquids.

The transmitter line accommodates a selection of primary elements including Laminar flow elements, orifice plates, averaging Pitot tubes, and Venturi tubes and nozzles. It can transmit multiple variables over a twisted pair of wire.
