The company's potable water pipes have a centrifugal cast fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar wall construction with an epoxy resin final interior layer
Hobas Pipe's potable water pipes have a centrifugal cast fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar wall construction with an epoxy resin final interior layer in addition to the normal polyester layer. The pipes and joint gaskets are NSF approved and are manufactured in accordance with and meet the performance requirements of AWWA C950, Fiberglass Pressure Pipe Standard. The products can be used in installations including open cut (direct bury), sliplining, jacking & microtunneling, tunnel lining and above ground.

Features include:

• Non-metallic construction results in inherent corrosion resistance without add-on coatings, polybag encasement or cathodic protection to offer long, maintenance-free life
• Leak-free, quick assembly, gasket-sealed, push-together joints.
• Significant energy savings due to the low head loss experienced from the smooth I.D. (Hazen-Williams C = 155).
• Easy to bury with predictable and reliable performance because of the high stiffness design.
• Lightweight, rugged, 20 foot sections and push-together joints (no welding or chemicals required) offer easy installation.
• Easy field length adjustments since the gasket-sealed coupling joints seal anywhere along the natural pipe O.D. surface with no calibration required.

Pipe Diameters from 12 in. to 102 in. are available. Pressure Classes ranges include 50, 100, 150, 200 & 250 psi standard. Stiffness Classes include 36, 46 & 72 psi standard. In-between values and larger sizes are also available for these units.
