The ExperTune software allows to model and tune shrink-swell processes. Using data collected from one setpoint change, it finds the optimal PID tuning parameters and model for the loop. The model consists of a lead time, lag time, integration and dead time.
Equipped with control functions, this software evaluates drum level based on simulation, modeling, robustness, frequency and valve wear analysis graphs of plant loops. Its key tuning parameter, PV Filter, works to prevent degradation of performance and reduce output noise.
This software produces a hard copy of loop analysis in a Microsoft Word document. This report includes all analysis graphs, tuning parameters together with the resulting Performance, Robustness and Valve Wear indices.
