CAT Pumps has responded to the demand for long life in intense, continuous-duty applications such as reverse osmosis by expanding its 316 stainless steel line. Whether it's an island salt water reverse osmosis system, an industrial waste water treatment system, salt water high pressure ship hull cleaning, or a special sanitizing system, CAT Pumps has a stainless steel pump to meet the need, starting with the 5 Frame pumps and expanding to the 7 Frame, 15 Frame, 28 Frame, 38 Frame and 68 Frame.

All models offer a near maintenance-free operation and incorporate long-life components. The hardened, polished 100 percent concentric, solid ceramic plungers and the specially formulated Hi-Pressure Seals housed in the, cast or block-style, 316 stainless steel manifold head, improve wet-end performance life. The chrome-moly forged crankshaft and the special high strength connecting rods ensure performance from the drive-end.

The 5 Frame offer belt drive, direct drive motorized and gearbox options, while the 7 Frame, 38 Frame and 68 Frame are available in belt drive or Complete Power Unit packages.
