ABB Benelux in the Netherlands has received an order for it's Advant Energy Management System (EMS) from the consortium JGC Corporation, Kellogg Brown & Root Inc
ABB Benelux in the Netherlands has received an order for it's Advant Energy Management System (EMS) from the consortium JGC Corporation, Kellogg Brown & Root Inc. for the Malaysia LNG Tiga project. ABB Automation Inc. - HPI also secured the order for the 33, 6.6 and 0.4 kV switchgears from the consortium.

Control and Monitoring features for all circuit breakers, transformers and generators from 33 kV down to 415 V are the base of the Advant EMS system which is completed with overall functionality such as Dynamic Fast Load Shedding, Active and Reactive Power Control, Load Sharing, Frequency and Voltage Control, and Overall Synchronisation.

The Malaysia LNG complex is located in Sarawak, Malaysia. When completed, the plant will make the Bintulu facility the world's single largest LNG complex with a combined production capacity of about 23 million tonnes per annum. Malaysia LNG Tiga is a joint venture of Petroleum National Bhd (Petronas), Shell gas B.V., Nippon Oil LNG (Netherlands) B.V. and Sarawak State of Malaysia.
