The company's new manPOWER series of rotary valve actuators provides direct mounted, compact, powerful fail-safe spring return automation for a wide range of quarter turn valves. These actuators are manually operated to their "in service" position, then on signal the powerful internal spring strokes the valve to its "fail-safe" position.
By eliminating compressed air, natural gas, electricity or nitrogen power these rugged actuators can remain in service, unattended, outdoors in all types of climatic conditions. These actuators can be activated by a wide range of pilot signals or sensing devices.
Options include:
- Interface with field mounted SCADA units
- Pressure pilots to cause actuation on high or low pipeline pressure
- Limit Switch units, rated Nema 4 or Nema 7, for remote signaling of valve position
- Solenoid pilot valves for AC or DC control signals
- Eutectic sensors to cause actuation from fire or high temperature
- Fast stroking times
- Speed Controls to slow stroking speed
- Valve adaption hardware for ball, plug or butterfly valves
