The MBV ball valve has a modular construction that allows use of various polymeric or metal seats to accommodate changing process conditions
The MBV ball valve has a modular construction that allows use of various polymeric or metal seats to accommodate changing process conditions. It is suitable for a wide range of applications – from cryogenic to high-temperature and general isolation duty, to critical emergency shutdown service. The MBV's proven metal seats are engineered with hard surface-coating technology, a wide spherical sealing area, and a sharp scraping edge, making these valves resistant to erosion and damage from difficult or dirty media. This ensures tight bi-directional shutoff over a long service life with low maintenance costs and reduced process downtime. In less extreme conditions, the valve's patented flexible-lip polymeric seats relieve cavity pressure and offer reliable, long-term bubble-tight shut-off.
