Larox manufactures valves for use with severely abrasive, erosive, and corrosive media in many different industries. Open and closed body types are available in sizes from 1" to 40" in control, on/off actuated and manual designs. Pressure capabilities are to 1500 psi. The valves can be supplied with 4-20 mA or 3-15 psig positioners and a variety of reduced ported sleeves for accurate modulating control in severely abrasive conditions. Pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators and various sleeve materials (natural and synthetic rubbers and various elastomers) are available to meet specific process needs. The valves can be used in applications with temperatures to 248°F, and are available in stainless steel.

The company has also developed a polyurethane valve sleeve for highly abrasive media. The material has up to 4 times the abrasion resistance of conventional rubber sleeves. The company also offers a sleeve insert that can be equipped with an early warning device for inner sleeve failure, preventing unscheduled downtime.
