Ansell Healthcare Launches WorkGuard 43-216, A Durable Protective Glove For Welders

Brussels - Ansell Healthcare, a global leader in barrier protective solutions, introduces WorkGuard 43-216, a leather welding glove. WorkGuard 43-216 is a sturdy heat-resistant glove that offers high levels of protection against molten metal splashes and conductive heat. In addition to thermal protection, it also provides superior durability and good protection from abrasion, cuts and punctures.
The appropriate solution for all welding tasks
Made of tough-wearing split leather, the WorkGuard 43-216 glove features a reinforced palm and Kevlar® seams that make it even more durable. This heavy-duty glove is comfortable and lined with cotton. It has an extended cuff and is 41cm long to protect the forearm better. Its gauntlet design also makes it easier to put on and pull off.
WorkGuard 43-216 is certified as a Category III glove for protection against high temperatures. This makes the glove suitable for a large number of applications requiring heat resistance, including welding, operating machinery and working in environments where there is a risk of heat or molten metal splashes. These industries include automotive/transportation, metal fabrication, machinery & equipment. Intended for general use welding, the heavy-duty cowhide WorkGuard 43-216 is particularly appropriate for MIG-MAG types of welding.
WorkGuard 43-216 is the latest addition to Ansell's product range and can be used perfectly in combination with the Safe-Knit Guard 59-416 sleeve for optimal protection in applications requiring high heat protection. These two products can be found on Ansell's Protection Solutions Website.
