Aramco Awards Long-Term Contract To SLB To Help Expand Kingdom's Unconventional Gas Production
Houston, TX (BUSINESS WIRE) - Global technology company SLB (NYSE:SLB) has been awarded a five-year contract by Aramco to provide stimulation treatment services for unconventional gas fields as part of a larger multi-billion dollar contract in support of one of the world's largest unconventional gas development programs.
The contract includes advanced stimulation treatments, well intervention, frac automation and digital solutions that will be critical to unlocking the potential of Saudi Arabia's unconventional gas resources and are central to the Kingdom's strategy to further diversify its energy portfolio and support the global energy transition.
