Baseline-MOCON Introduces The New Series 9000 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer With Unparalleled Flexibility
Lyons, CO - Baseline - MOCON, Inc., a subsidiary of MOCON, strengthens their leadership in the field of gas detection by announcing the release of their new versatile total hydrocarbon analyzer.
The Series 9000 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer has an incredible active range from less than 10 ppb on the high sensitivity version and up to 100% as methane on the percent level version. Standard outputs include alarm and fault relays, 0-20mA or 4-20mA analog, or the suggested digital options, RS-232 or Ethernet. Configurations can also include components for single or multipoint analysis.
The FlowGuard electronic control of the fuel, air, and sample delivery to the flame ionization detector (FID), with automatic ignition, improves safety, performance, and sensitivity. Alarms levels and calibration intervals are all programmable making a unit operable with minimal experience. Optional password protection will also ensure data integrity for every analysis.
Featuring more built-in software options, navigated by a large graphical display and easy to use menu system, eliminates the need for external computing. Also incorporated into the unit are a help menu, on-board diagnostics, factory and local contact information, and an on-board service reminder for preventative maintenance.
Advancements in technology have allowed the Series 9000 to be more compact, 19"W x 14.25"D x 5.25"H and weighing less than 20 lbs., making it over 1200 cubic inches smaller and 10 lbs. lighter than earlier series.
These features place the instrument well ahead of the competition in performance, automation, and configurability. Applications for the Series 9000 include mud logging during oil and gas exploration, monitoring lower explosive limits, industrial hygiene and safety, and contaminant analysis in pure/ultrapure gases.
