The processing of natural gas involves removal of butane and propane from the raw gas in order to prevent condensation of these volatiles in natural gas pipelines. Merichem's FIBER-FILM® technologies have proven to be highly effective in the treatment of these propane and butane streams to remove hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, carbonyl sulfide and mercaptan. The specific processes that are applicable to propane/butane applications include: AMINEX™, AMINEX™ COS, THIOLEX™ (typically coupled with REGEN® when extracting mercaptans) and THIOLEX™ COS
