COADE Co-sponsoring Daratech Plant 2008, January 28-30 In Houston

Houston, TX - COADE announced recently that the company has signed again to co-sponsor Daratech Plant, set for January 28-30, 2008, at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel in Houston, Texas. The event will cover new technologies in plant design and include discussions on the challenges and solutions facing the petrochemical, oil and gas, power and mining industries.

This year's theme, Achieving Maximum Performance with Limited Resources, has special meaning for COADE, born during the oil bust of the 1980's and continuing to succeed through global highs and lows in providing plant design and engineering solutions through all business environments and volatile world situations. "With today's high-priced oil combined with other global factors, the plant design industry is seeing unprecedented activity in the power, water treatment, pharmaceutical, and alternative energy industries worldwide," explained Thomas J. Van Laan, PE, the president/CEO of COADE. "This unprecedented project activity means there is an increasing demand on engineering resources – a shortage of engineers, a shortage of equipment and a shortage of time as the project schedules are squeezed tighter and tighter."

At Daratech Plant 2008, COADE will feature its plant design and engineering analysis software products designed to address this situation by maximizing the performance of limited resources, including the CADWorx Plant Design Suite for intelligent plant design modeling, process schematics and automatic production of plant design deliverables; CAESAR II, the world's most widely used pipe stress analysis software; PV Elite for the design and analysis of pressure vessels and heat exchangers; and TANK for the design and analysis of oil storage tanks.
