Bacharach, Inc.ny%> manufactures the Sentinel Infrared Combustible Gas Detection Transmitter for use in hydrocarbon gas detection applications where a low maintenance solution is desirable. Low maintenance means greatly reduced labor and repair costs. The infrared sensor offers long life and is nearly maintenance free, saving valuable time and money on labor and replacement parts.

The instrument lasts five or more years, cannot be poisoned, is unaffected by humidity or temperature change, can operate in an Oxygen deficient environment, is extremely stable (no drift) and recovers quickly from high gas levels. It requires only annual nonintrusive calibration with a zero gas (air), so there is no need to declassify the area or purchase and use zero and span gases.
