Kay-Ray was founded in Arlington Heights, Illinois, manufacturing non- intrusive density measuring devices utilizing radiometric energy. Sensall was established in Farmingdale, New York, as National Sonics, with the invention of the world's first ultrasonic contacting point level switch.
