ProPharma has been instrumental in implementing scientific data standards and significantly contributing to the R&D-wide Data Standards & Governance program for a global biopharma company with over 20,000 employees. Although the company had processes for managing key clinical data standards, there was no coordination across R&D functional areas for other standard terminology, nor was there standardization of scientific terminology in early R&D. Our previous Digital Blueprint engagements identified the need for a global set of data standards and governance structures as crucial for the successful implementation of new software systems and enhancing the value of R&D data as a key asset.

ProPharma employed our Data Standards & Governance project methodology, leveraging our knowledge of industry data standards and organizations (e.g., ISO, Allotrope, Pistoia, ISA-88) and our experience delivering similar projects. This approach focuses on three key pillars: defining standards, implementing governance, and implementing supporting tools.
