This method is used to make the determination of total gases contained in transformer main body mineral oil in compliance with ASTM 3612B. The TOGAS-17 measures Hydrogen to <1ppm as well as the other hydrocarbon gases: methane, ethane, ethylene, acetylene, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Air components such as nitrogen and oxygen are measured at higher concentration.
