Wilden Pump & Engineering Co. Pump & Engineering Co. Wil-Gard I diaphragm monitoring system is for use with the company's air-operated, double-diaphragm pumps. The system enables users to detect the presence of a conductive fluid at the source: the primary diaphragm.
Upon sensing a diaphragm failure, the system activates an audible alarm, a high brightness LED, and an internal relay while a backup diaphragm provides product containment. When used in conjunction with a solenoid valve on the air supply line, the monitoring system reduces hazardous emissions, product contamination, and part replacement costs. Whether factory installed on the pump or as an accessory to existing pumps in the field, this unit significantly lowers down time and maintenance costs with 24-hour pump surveillance.
