Detcon Announces DM-100 Low-Power Gas Detection Sensors

Model

The Woodlands, TX - Detcon's new Model DM-100 gas detection sensors are low power devices designed to detect and continuously monitor a wide range of toxic gases. All sensors provide a 2-wire loop powered 4-20 milliamp current signal equivalent to the range of the detected concentration of gas.

The DM-100 features intelligent electronics and a non-intrusive operator interface with automated calibration and comprehensive fault diagnostics. The sensor is packaged in an electro-polished 316 stainless steel housing fitted with a ¾ inch NPT thread. All electronics are fully encapsulated in the sensor housing adding a high level of durability to the design. Packaging is explosion proof and intrinsically safe.

Additional accessories include a field replaceable transient protection circuit, a loop powered digital display, an alarm relay board, and a current to Modbus converter.
