Eco-Tec Awarded Four Quality Certifications By TSSA

Pickering, Ontario - Eco-Tec recently announced that it has recently been awarded four quality certifications from the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA). The certifications were awarded for meeting TSSA qualifications and registrations for the manufacture, fabrication, assembly, repair, and alteration of pressure valves, process piping, and power piping.

Eco-Tec met the application requirements that included: a documented quality program manual in accordance with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) B51, the applicable American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code, and TSSA requirements; a review of the written program manual by a TSSA survey team; and a demonstration of implementation of the program on an item in progress through the quality system. The process includes numerous on-site surveys, extensive audits, and thorough inspections of Eco-Tec's facilities, processes, procedures, and production results.

"Customers are increasingly demanding higher quality from global manufacturers. For our customers, TSSA Registration and Certification provides further assurance that our products exceed quality requirements." Stated Kevin Munns, Eco-Tec VP of Operations. "We are proud of our ability to manufacture to the stringent requirements of TSSA, CSA, ASME, and ISO, as it provides a global competitive advantage as well as the potential for increased in-sourced production jobs."
