Eco-Tec Inc. Was Presented With Two Awards At The 8th Annual Ontario Global Traders Awards Ceremony

The Innovation Award recognizes excellence in the application of existing or new technology in the development of new products or services and/or improvements to existing products or services that lead to consistent growth in exports and job creation. Nominations in this category were made for the Eco-Tec AmiPur system. The AmiPur system provides the oil and gas industry with a permanent, on-site chemical purification system which is used to control sulphur fuel emissions. AmiPur provides an alternative to disposing of contaminated chemicals or hiring a mobile service to come in to clean the chemicals used in the refineries and gas processing plants. There are distribution channels developed on all six continents for the AmiPur and all sales, to date, have been made to the export market. Eco-Tec was presented with the Silver Award for the Central Ontario Region in this category.

The Market Expansion Award recognizes the pioneering spirit of Ontario SME's that have successfully established themselves in a new export market in addition to existing markets. Eco-Tec manufactures chemical purification and water treatment systems used in numerous industries. Eco-Tec enhances the systems to meet the specific needs of each of its markets and each system is custom tailored to the specific needs of the customer. Eco-Tec exports to 51 countries on six continents. Eco-Tec was nominated in this category and won the Bronze Award for the Central Ontario Region.

To date, more than 1500 Eco-Tec systems have been installed in over 50 countries around the world.
