Eight Colors Added to Enamel Line

Rust-Oleum Corporation has added eight new colors to its Labor Saver 5200 System high-performance acrylic waterbase enamel line, which now offers 31 standard colors. In addition, the company's Field Tint System provides hundreds of flat, gloss and semi-gloss tinted colors.

Available in one-gallon and five-gallon sizes, the 5200 System maintenance coatings are designed to provide colorful, durable protective finishes and outperform oil-based enamels in corrosion, fading and weather resistance. Designed for interior or exterior use over primed surfaces in mild to moderate industrial environments and severe weather exposures, 5200 System coatings adhere well to bare, abrasive blasted steel, galvanized metal and aluminum. They also have been shown to perform well on wood, concrete masonry, plaster and previously painted surfaces.

Applied by brush, roller or spray, these enamels dry quickly and can be over-coated in three hours. The lead-free coatings feature low odor, soap-and-water clean-up, low toxicity, low VOC level (at <250g/l to meet the most restrictive requirements) and low risk of flammability.
