EMERSON'S MICRO MOTION® CORIOLIS FLOWMETERS NOW AVAILABLE WITH INTEGRATED API FUNCTIONALITY
Available on all Micro Motion® flowmeters, the API feature of MVD technology calculates relative density and degrees API at the user's selected standard temperature utilizing the equations for hydrocarbon fluids provided in the API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards. The API functionality also calculates volume corrected to standard temperature, average temperature and average flowing density. As a result, customers can gain further value from the multivariable features of Micro Motion meters for custody transfer measurement. In addition, customers can eliminate the need for a densitometer and the need to calibrate or recalibrate for different densities and viscosities. Using one instrument to measure corrected volume flow and corrected density reduces customers' capital investments and maintenance costs.
Micro Motion's exclusive MVD technology is front-end, multivariable digital signal processing that enables multiple variable measurement and diagnostics never before possible. The result is:
- Clean, noise-free, stable signals that can measure multiple variables for improved measurement performance and process consistency
- Built-in smart diagnostics to identify and resolve problems easily and maximize uptime
- 2-4 times faster response than analog devices, ensuring repeatability during proving
-more-
- Integral or remote mounting options with standard 4-wire signal cable to save money
- Scalability for any flow or density application
