The 705 offers technicians in the primary metals, refining, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and power generation industries a rugged, reliable calibration tool that can source, measure and simulate loop current and provide 24 volt loop power.

Process instrument technicians demanding quick, easily interpreted readings will appreciate the simultaneous milliampere and % of span readouts. Selectable slow ramp, fast ramp and step functions provide the user with test signals needed for valve slewing and loop functional tests, allowing a single technician to troubleshoot the entire loop. The Span Check function instantly selects zero and 100% of span outputs. A 25% button conducts quick linearity checks at 25% steps, saving time over traditional knob type controls.

The Fluke 705 offers 0.02% accuracy and 1 microamp resolution in any current mode. A 24 volt internal loop supply enables the user to power and read a transmitter at the same time, using a single instrument. Both a 4/20 milliampere and 0/20 milliampere modes are both available.

At six inches (152mm) in length and weighing 12 ounces (340 grams), the 705 Loop Calibrator is compact and portable. The instrument uses a single nine-volt battery that is easy to replace with the quick-change door, thereby not compromising the calibration of the calibrator.

The Fluke 705 is backed by Fluke Corporation's three-year warranty. The Fluke 705 calibrator comes complete with test leads, test clips, instruction sheets in 14 languages and a protective C-10 holster that allows hanging from pipes, rails and joists.
