Pegas 3000 uses gases from compressed cylinders to provide precision gas mixtures of oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), and nitrogen (N2) with component contributions of 0% or 1-99%, 0% or 0.1%-99%, and 1-100%, respectively, for instrument calibration. Pegas 3000 begins delivering the required mixture in less than 7 min at a pressure of 15-20 psi and a flow of approximately 1.5 L/min. Mixing ratio: accuracy is < +/- 1 % of concentration O2; > 5%, CO2 > 0.5%, and N2 > 5%. The instrument can be operated from the front panel or via an RS-232 connection to a computer. Operating software for IBM-PC-compatible computers is supplied. The mixer can be customized to provide mixtures of other gases. Power requirements are 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 3OW; dimensions are 10.5 x 13.5 x 7.5 in.; net weight is 16 lb.
