TDW Services, Inc., offers a plugging service designed specifically for 2" through 24" high-temperature steam piping. Plugging equipment designed to operate up to 650°F at 600 psi permits TDW Services Technicians to conduct plugging operations in piping too hot for standard STOPPLE equipment operation. The heart of this service is a plugging machine design featuring a plugging head with a special high-temperature sealing element.
The high temperature plugging service provides the customer who operates high-temperature piping a safe, practical and economical means of repairing his system without the costly shutdowns usually associated with these repair operations. This service is available as a standard offering for 2" through 24" piping. Service in other sizes, both smaller and larger, is available on request.
