The Apollo line of ball valves is designed to replace leak-prone three-piece valves in hydraulic systems.
Special end connections make these two-piece valves easier to install. One end is SAE thread O-ring boss type providing positive sealing to prevent leaks at connections to conveyors or tools. The other- a socket-weld end- is designed to dissipate heat during welding and protect valve seats from damage.
Designated the 78-145-01 and 78-146-01, the stainless steel valves are built for long leak-free service in food processing, automotive and conveyor systems and other high-pressure hydraulic applications.
They are available in ¾ in. and 1 in. sizes. Rated at 2,000 WOG, they can control hydraulic lines that run at widely varying speeds.
Handles on the valves can be latched and padlocked. Also standard is an actuator-mounting pad for easy automation.
