InterCorr International, Inc. was established in Houston, Texas in 1982 to provide contract technical services for corrosion testing and research, materials evaluation, qualification, consulting and failure analysis to industries experiencing problems with corrosion. InterCorr has a preeminent reputation for technical expertise in the petroleum and chemical sectors. Since its inception, there has been substantial growth in activities related to software development and testing and monitoring equipment for assessment of corrosion, biofouling, scaling and chemical treatments.

With the acquistion of InterCorr by Integriti Solutions, a provider of online corrosion monitoring and process control solution now offers its clients a complete range of services, laboratory test and plant/field monitoring systems and software solutions.

These include:
SmartCET - SmartCET™ is a field instrument for monitoring corrosion. It is "smart" because it processes the data "onboard" and gives back corrosion rates. Key features are: the use of multiple techniques to monitor corrosion, reduced cost of installation, accuracy, reliability, ease of use, intrinsically safe, online and realtime monitoring.

The SmartCET™ product range facilitates electrochemical measurement of corrosion for industrial applications. The units can be offered in either Intrinsically Safe or non Intrinsically Safe models.

Our IS versions are certified by FM, CSA, CENELEC and are suitable for class 1, division 1 (zone 1) hazardous areas.

CHx - CHx (Corrosion under Heat Transfer) provides accurate, on-line performance information for corrosion and fouling parameters within critical cooling water exchanger applications. Unique electrochemical measurement techniques, precise flow, heat input and temperature measurements coupled with innovative instrument design make this possible.

Corrosion and fouling of heavy industrial cooling water heat exchangers result in loss of heat transfer performance and, eventually, failure of these critical equipment assets. Effective on-line monitoring of corrosion and fouling under actual heat transfer conditions allows water treatment programs to be optimized or process conditions modified to critical heat exchanger reliability.

CHx monitoring solution allows real-time detection of the onset of corrosion and losses in heat transfer efficiency.

CHx focuses on the combined on-line measurement of both 1) uniform and pitting corrosion of the exchanger tube materials, and 2) heat exchange efficiency. These parameters, which are fundamental to the heat exchange process, are integrated within CHx to provide one, reliable, user-friendly system.
