International Transducer Corporation
Broadband Deep Ocean Hydrophones and Projectors
Transponder and Profiler Transducers
Transducers for All Applications
Since 1966, ITC has developed and manufactured over 5,000 different acoustic transducer designs for a wide range of applications. ITC transducers have been used in defense, communication, navigation control and information gathering applications. They are integral to many advanced sonar systems, position determining systems and data telemetry devices.
The company also produces commercial acoustic transducers for medical, industrial, navigation, seismic exploration, seabed mining, fish tracking, and other applications requiring advanced acoustic technology.
ITC's modern manufacturing facility in Santa Barbara, California, incorporates general assembly, machine and engineering prototype shops, acoustic test tanks, pressure tanks and sophisticated acoustical and electrical test equipment. ITC is very versatile in manufacturing small quantity orders of 2 or 3 as well as large 25,000 unit orders for large scale production projects.
ITC is headed by President and Chief Design Engineer, William Bunker. With over 26 years in the underwater acoustics industry , Mr. Bunker has been instrumental in developing solutions to complex transducer applications and he has created many unique transducer designs for use in a variety of ocean environments, frequency ranges, and sensitivity levels.
Engineering and design is headed by Ender Kuntsal. With over 17 years in the acoustic field, Mr. Kuntsal serves as Engineering Manager for ITC's technical staff. Mr. Kuntsal has extensive experience in the design of acoustic transducers and arrays. He is particularly well versed in the area of computer modeling and analysis of acoustic transducers.
