ISA: 5040/5080 Manual Shutoff Valves

The 5040/5080 design offers zero leakage over the complete pressure range of 0 to 6,000 psi. According to the manufacturer, the seat design allows for the valves to be used in metering, throttling, or full open or closed operation. The plastic seal is encapsulated to protect against wire drawing and other possible damage. The all-plastic and 316 stainless version assures compatibility with most gasses and liquids. Low operating torque is typical even with the large Cv of 3.79 which is offered in the 3/4" and 1" size valves.

Sizes range from 1/4" through 1" and NPT or MS33649 tube connections are standard. Ambient and cryogenic designs are available from -420˚F to +450˚F.
