The XMTC Microprocessor-Based Thermal Conductivity Gas Analyzer is a rugged, 24-VDC powered, NEMA 4X and/or NEMA 7 transmitter that provides a 4-20 mA isolated output. Binary gas mixtures with H2, CO2, SO2, CH4, He and other gases can be analyzed for percent ranges.

Microprocessor control provides for computer-enhanced signal detection and error handling. Ultrastable measurement thermistors provide zero and span stability. When calibration is required, it can be performed digitally via RS232 communication to a PC, or by a push button inside the unit. The entire measurement cell is heated and temperature controlled to 55¡C (or optionally to 70¡C), providing insensitivity to ambient temperature variations as well as protection against any slugs of liquid condensate in the sample gas.
