Kvaerner Oilfield Products

Kvaerner Oilfield Products (KOP) is the center of excellence within the Kvaerner group of companies for subsea systems. Its role is to support all aspects of subsea field development from initial concept screening through front-end engineering, detail design, procurement, fabrication, and manufacture, assembly, installation, commissioning, and life of field support. KOP's facilities are located in key regions of the world with manufacturing facilities, in Houston, Texas; Edmonton, Canada; Tranby, Norway, Batam, Indonesia; Aberdeen, Scotland; and Curitiba Brazil. KOP's scope of supply also includes surface wellheads and trees with sales and service centers in Houston, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Midland, Odessa, and Kilgore, Texas; New Orleans, Amelia, Lafayette, Louisiana; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Hobbs, New Mexico; Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and Calgary and Edmonton, Canada. KOP's manufacturing facility in Houston is located on 18 acres and features 170,000 sq. ft of manufacturing area and 52,000 sq. ft. of office space.

In this respect KOP is the most complete contractor in its field, having both the engineering resources of concept evaluation and project definition, and extensive manufacturing and fabrication facilities. Supporting these capabilities is a worldwide network of service centers which provide onshore and offshore assistance, training, and after sale support for the complete range of products and services.
