Both types are manufactured using an electric resistance welding method that joins the fins integrally to the tube, assuring continuous high heat transfer efficiency. Fin heights range from approximately 3/16 to 1-½ inches. Parent tubes can range from 5/8 to 18-inch OD. The metallurgy can be tailored to meet specific process material specifications. Non-ferrous longitudinally soldered fintubes in brass and copper-nickel alloys are also available.
