The looped wire screen is made by looping the surface wires around the support rods
Hendrick Screen Companyoped wire screen is made by looping the surface wires around the support rods, with no welding involved. This mechanical assembly means that under high-vibrational stress, the screen is free to flex. The flexing also helps to keep the slots open since it dislodges any near-size particles which might become temporarily trapped.
The screen is said to hold up in processing coal.
