Micropower Impulse Radar

Micropower Impulse Radar
The Barton TankScan MIR (Micropower Impulse Radar) direct level measurement system incorporates a fully solid state sensor for high resolution continuous sensing of tank fluid level
N/ATankScan MIR (Micropower Impulse Radar) direct level measurement system incorporates a fully solid state sensor for high resolution continuous sensing of tank fluid level and provides a comprehensive remote distributed process inventory management solution.

The battery-powered sensor measures level to +/- 3 mm accuracy with a weighted flexible wave guide. Data is transmitted by radio to a receiver/modem to a desktop computer or other host systems.

It can be configured by its host. The software provides hardware set-up, database and alarm functions, data analysis and reporting, and polling at user-specified intervals. Inventory status can be made available to host systems anywhere in the world via dial-up telephone or cellular modem technology using ADEPT or ModBus communication protocols.

The impulse radar sensor technology uses a combination of low energy radar and high frequency transient digitizing. It offers the elimination of multiple sensor signal interference.
