Modular Containment System

The VariTank containment system is engineered to fit virtually through and in any space and can be assembled into square, rectilinear, L, S, or T shapes in hard-to-reach places. The heavy-duty, free-standing units are assembled from 6 1/4-ft-high x 3 1/2-ft-wide galvanized steel modules that bolt together with ordinary hand tools to form 200- to 100,000-gal structures. (A 2,000-gal tank reportedly can be assembled by two workmen in four hours.) Chemically resistant flexible membrane liners include XR-5, Hypalon, PVC, HDPE, or polypropylene. Steel covers, sight glasses, access hatches and through-the-wall plumbing fittings are optionally available.
