New Flame Detector Represents a Quantum Leap in Fire Detector Technology
The unit combines the very latest infrared wide, near and narrow band technology with an additional visible radiation detector and allows the unit to analyse the widest spectrum of emissions. False alarm rejection is achieved by using advanced signal processing algorithms to analyse all the data from these sensors to provide performance suitable for the harshest environments.
On Alarm, the detector is also able to store all of the pre-fire spectral data from the sensor array in a non-volatile memory for subsequent retrieval and evaluation. This data is invaluable when trying to determine the possible type and cause of the fire.
SearchFlame 22 has relay, analogue and RS485 digital outputs as standard and is available in 316 stainless steel or a copper-free aluminium version. The SearchFlame 22 is fully certified for use in hazardous areas by both European and American authorities.
Operating voltage is 24VDC and quiescent power consumption is 60mA. The SearchFlame 22 can operate in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and within a relative humidity band of 10% to 90%. IP 66 ingress protection is standard. A field of view of 100° horizontal by 100° vertical at 75% of the on-axis detection distance is provided and sensitivity settings can be set at 25, 50, 100 or 200 feet.
The SearchFlame 22 comes complete with a stainless steel swivel mount and is part of ZeIIwegerAnalytics' comprehensive range of fire and gas detection systems.
