Houston, Texas: July, 2000-The Model 8060 Nitrogen Specific HPLC Detector (HPLC-CLND) from ANTEK Instruments can save an analyst hours or even months of work. Its equimolar response allows quantitation of all nitrogen-containing compounds, using any readily available nitrogen standards, over 5 orders of magnitude - complex compounds with a single standard. It quantitates unknown compounds without using the unknown as a reference. Because the CLND responds only to nitrogen-containing compounds, it is ideal to use without derivatization. The detector offers a linear calibration curve >104 and a detection limit of 0.1 ngN. Applications include pharmaceutical, biomedical, biotechnical, agricultural, foods, and petrochemical industries. When added to an LC-MS it provides quick quantitation.
